A New Look for The Iconophile

“The only true voyage of discovery is not to go to new places, but to have other eyes.” – Marcel Proust

The ability to look at something anew, with fresh eyes, to see the individual parts as a whole, that is the true secret of knowledge. If you are unable to play Devil’s Advocate, then you will never truly see the whole picture because sometimes, the Devil has a point. Well, 3 points. On the end of his pitchfork. Boom! Comedy right there. You’d have missed that if you were only looking at a single perspective. So knowledge and laughter. And in the case of our new-look blog, design, photography, art, music and a whole lot of inspiration along with the aforementioned knowledge and laughter of course, all wrapped up in a new ‘whole picture’ kind of a package. Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.

Which is all a convoluted Philias Switchmoat kind of a way of saying, we have launched a new theme for our blog. A magazine style layout that shows you more of our content at a single glance. The bigger picture. See, all things are interconnected and that, ladies and gentlemen, is metaphysics in action.

Please let us know if you like the new look and don’t forget to follow us for a whole lot more design and visual stimuli and possibly, a little bit more metaphysics.*

*It’s all metaphysics. Ha!

“It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.” – Aristotle

  1. Beautiful pic of the mistress. People are going to think the big picture is all about the cat. She’s taking over the blog just as she has taken over our lives, she is very lovely. And to think it all started with a bunny.

Glad you like the new look. Nudge, nudge, wink wink, know what I mean.
