The Art of Being a Fool

“A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.”

An April Fool is a prank,

played by a prankster on others.

But who is the fool in this scenario?

Is it those upon whom the prank is played,

or

the one playing the prank?

  1. And yet Shakespeare also portrayed the fool as the one who was the wise man. An excellent demonstration, perhaps, of how those who think they are in the know often aren’t.

    • Shakespeare! We are not worthy! 😉

He was a master of observation of humanity. Do you think that anyone who reads the particular quote to which you’re referring every sees themselves as the fool?
