Disguises. We all wear them. My internet presence is a form of disguise, as is this blog, upon which appears a photograph, another disguise, and within that photograph I appear hidden behind a mask.
A disguise within a disguise within a disguise within etc. You get the picture. Or do you?

G is for Gorgeous. This is so beautiful, rich and untouchable in a sense. There’s something unattainable about it. I enjoy people who make parts of themselves inaccessible. You might call it a disguise, but I prefer to call it dignity.

Thank you so much and you are right, I believe there is great dignity in keeping an air of mystery. D could just have easily been for Dignity or even for Defence as that is what my various disguises amount to.
A platform like WordPress encourages me to lower my defences a tiny bit. Not too much but perhaps just a peek from behind the curtain.

It is a challenge, I’m sure, but I think you handle it with grace. Thank you for peeking out and sharing your mysterious and awe inspiring work.

If my work continues to inspire such wonderful poetry then it will all be worth it.

Hello again, I really like (covet) this gorgeous mask, as you know. And of course, I wrote a new poem using it as a theme. It is in the same style as Rosencraft. May I display this photo with the poem, (with the usual links back to your blog)? The poem works best with this photo. Thank you again.
