.
“If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?”
.
it wasn’t in a forest,
there were people around,
in the general vicinity,
they were asleep,
inside,
while a storm,
called Katie,
raged,
outside.
.
No one heard this tree fall.
.
.
They did not feel the ground shudder when it fell,
nor the sigh of branches breaking
its fall.
.
Their ears did not open their eyes.
.
But their eyes did eventually open,
and looked towards the place where the tree once stood proud,
yet they did not see what was no longer there,
because it wasn’t there to be seen.
.
It took them awhile,
to notice,
that a detail,
a rather large one,
was missing,
had changed.
.
Spot the differences…
.
They did think that it was unusually bright for an overcast day,
the usual view seemed different,
lighter,
clearer,
but why?
.
