A Passion for… Colour

Black and White Daisy

.

“To attain knowledge, add things everyday.

To attain wisdom, remove things every day.”
― Lao Tzu

.

There are times

when it is necessary

to see the world

in

black and white

to take a break

from all the colourful

distraction

and

focus

on

what is there

when there is no colour.

.

Too much black and white

is like too much of anything

and

the scales of balance

tip

you may lose perspective

your eye crying out

Can you spare me some colour!

.

I have a passion for

colour

the kind which

surprises the eye

stimulates the senses

bleeds

outside and over

the black and white lines.

.

“There are not more than five primary colours, yet in combination
they produce more hues than can ever been seen.”
― Sun Tzu
