Traveling Light

What makes you smile

surprising your mind

the sudden feeling

of lips curled upwards

with pleasure

For me it is

cutting a path

here and there

sun rays through mist

the glow of an aura

dawn breaking

sunset waving goodnight

revealing the moon

silver lining on clouds

slivers of gossamer gold

spotlighting hidden treasures discovered

brightness through a crack in the blind

creating shadow stories on walls

I smile without thinking

with feeling

heart following

a trail

“Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson

Seasons Greetings from the Iconophile

Best Wishes

Let your light shine freely!

  1. Stunning PHOTO!! And lovely words, as always.
Of course, I want to imitate it somehow (hopefully you are flattered) but add a piece of my Cobalt to personalize it. Gives me an idea for a gift for my James. He would love a beautifully staged photograph of our two favorite colors together.
Hope you have amazing and peaceful holidays, however you “celebrate”. Your visual talents and especially your words, both to all and to me personally, have added so much to my first year of blogging.
    Thank you.
