in every droplet of water

which subsequently falls

gathering powerfully together

joining forces with thunder and lightning

pounding the roof

gushing through the gutters

drumming the ground

flowing along power lines

busy little drops

rushing to get from there to there

flooding the world around you

swiftly and suddenly

inexorably

until you begin to think that you might need a boat…
